NFP Solutions is the Community Capacity Building arm of the Canterbury Community Business Trust (CCBT). CCBT is a charitable trust established in 1998 to promote understanding of the role of asset based community economic development  and social enterprises as a tool to build wealth in a community.

It provides training opportunities for disadvantaged communities and individuals facing employment, social and environmental barriers.  

Past projects include an Irish bakery, home renovations, worm farming and recyclable shopping bags.

Current projects are: One on One Driving Solutions, NFP Solutions and the Social Enterprise Institute.

The Trust has 3 trustees constituting the governance board. There are 4 paid staff whom manage the operations and service delivery contracts.
